We are proud to announce that we are running our entire network on Enterasys Switches and VMware ESXi running on HP Servers. We couldn't ask for faster, secure switching and reliable hosts. Our VMware environment runs under vSphere 5.0 for High Availability (HA) and Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS). We also utilize Distributed Power Management (DPM) to save enegery in our data center. When virtual machines in a DRS cluster need fewer resources, such as during nights and weekends, DPM consolidates workloads onto fewer servers and powers off the rest to reduce power consumption. When virtual machine resource requirements increase (such as when users log into applications in the morning), DPM brings powered-down hosts back online to ensure service levels are met.
